The UMass men's lacrosse finished the regular-season ranked 16th according to the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Division I Top 20 Poll and 18th in the USILA Division I Coaches Poll.
With the new polls, posted after the unveiling of the NCAA Tournament bracket, four UMass opponents are in the final polls (USILA/Inside Lacrosse): Hofstra (13th/11th), Delaware (14th/15th), Harvard (15th/14th), Hartford (19th/20th). UMass was 2-3 against those teams with wins over Delaware and Harvard.
