University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari has extended invitations to former Wildcats as well as his past players at Massachusetts and Memphis to use UK's Joe Craft Center to train during the NBA lockout if it occurs.

Calipari posted a message on his website,, in which he went into some depth about his philosophy on inviting former players back to campus to complete their degrees and use UK's facilities.

Calipari noted that former Cat Wayne Turner took advantage of the opportunity and received his degree from UK this past weekend. Calipari also said John Wall has already contacted UK about information for enrolling in summer classes.

Calipari said that even if former players - from UK, UMass or Memphis - do not choose to enroll in classes at UK, they are still welcome to come and train at the Craft Center.
