The Vancouver Canucks needed two overtimes, but Kevin Bieksa scored 10:18 into the second overtime to send the club to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 1994 eliminating the San Jose Sharks, 3-2, from the NHL playoffs.
UMass alum and former All-American Justin Braun did not see action during the playoffs, but was on the active roster for the duration.
