Paul Dainton received the surprise start last night turning in a 31-save effort, but it was not enough as the AHL's Springfield Falcons fell 3-2 to the Hartford Whale. The Falcons will be in action again on Saturday when they head to Worcester to face former UMass standouts Matt Irwin, James Marcou and Cory Quirk.
