UMass' two alums in the NBA D-League have been playing well.
Tony Gaffney has scored in double-figures in each of the last five games with the Utah Flash. He had 11 points and 8 rebounds in a Saturday loss to Reno. For the year, Gaffney is averaging 9.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 28 games. With the Maine Red Claws, Stephane Lasme has played in three games and is averaging 5.0 points and 4.3 rebounds. In his last game, a had a season-best nine points and seven rebounds vs. Texas. Lasme rehabbed from a broken foot suffered in the preseason prior to the start of the season in November.
