After an inaugural event that landed founder Scott Crowder and his crew the Lakes Region Association's prestigious Tourism Award, the event is back with more action on the ice and even more fun for the entire family. It will feature over 150 teams (over 1,000 participants) competing on 14 rinks over three days for the coveted Lake WinnipeHockey Cup, but it doesn't end there as the weekend will feature skills competitions, balloon and helicopter rides.
"We've been working hard," said Crowder, who played college hockey at UMass and is the son of former UNH and Boston Bruins player Bruce Crowder. "We're pumped. The big dance is coming. We're ready. The town is ready. The team is ready. It's exciting.
