On his MassLive.com blog last night, Dick Baker wrote about how he feels a second-half slide for the UMass hockey team is unlikely this year given the team's progression and the way the schedule is set up for January.
In addition to the schedule being reasonable, the young UMass team is likely to be getting better as it goes along, as it has already. So maybe this year will be a reverse, a slow start, and a strong ending.
