UMass alum Gary Forbes had one of his best games in the NBA as one its coaches won his 1000th career game. Forbes made 7-of-8 from the floor to tally 15 points and also grabbed six rebounds in 24 minutes as the Nuggets gave George Karl his 1000th career win with a 123-116 victory at Toronto. Forbes had 13 of his 15 points in the third quarter alone.
