In a story from the Lexington Herald-Leader about Kentucky's trip to Canada for an exhibition series later this month, head coach John Calipari had high praise for his 1995-96 UMass squad.
In reference to only having 10 scholarship players for the UK trip, Calipari stated: "The best team I ever coached was the UMass team that beat Kentucky to open the season and we played six guys."
